How it works

1. Cast Baithook Angler from your graveyard for its disturb cost by paying 2, causing it to enter the battlefield transformed as Hook-Haunt Drifter.
2. Activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing Hook-Haunt Drifter, adding 2.
3. Because Dress Down causes Hook-Haunt Drifter to lose all abilities, it is not exiled when it is sacrificed, and is returned to your graveyard as Baithook Angler.
4. Repeat.

This clever loop relies on the rules interaction between Hook-Haunt Drifter's replacement effect and the static ability of Dress Down, which strips the creature of all abilities upon entering the battlefield. Because of this suppression, sacrificing Hook-Haunt Drifter to Ashnod's Altar sends it cleanly back to your graveyard as Baithook Angler instead of exiling it, allowing you to recast it repeatedly for its disturb cost. Meanwhile, Chromatic Orrery sits on the board to help filter and manage your mana, letting you easily fuel the loop while generating infinite death, entry, and sacrifice triggers alongside a massive storm count.
