How it works

1. Activate Elite Arcanist's ability by paying 1 and tapping it, casting a copy of Songs of the Damned without paying its mana cost.
2. Resolve Songs of the Damned, adding at least 2.
3. Activate Freed from the Real's second ability by paying 1, untapping Elite Arcanist.
4. Repeat.
5. If you have three or more creature cards in your graveyard, this combo nets infinite mana.

This loop transforms a modest graveyard into an engine of infinite mana by turning Elite Arcanist into a living, repeatable ritual. Because Chromatic Orrery lets you spend mana as though it were any color, the black mana generated by casting Songs of the Damned can be flexibly converted to pay for the blue mana required by Freed from the Real. As long as your graveyard holds at least three creature cards, Songs of the Damned refunds more than enough mana to fuel Freed from the Real's untap cost and Elite Arcanist's activation fee, leaving you with a boundless supply of colored mana.
