How it works

  1. Activate Chromatic Orrery's first ability by tapping it, adding 5.
  2. Activate Minamo's second ability by paying 1 and tapping it, targeting itself.
  3. Rings of Brighthearth triggers, causing you to pay 2 to copy Minamo's ability, targeting Chromatic Orrery.
  4. Resolve both Minamo abilities, untapping it and Chromatic Orrery.
  5. Repeat.
  6. Once you have infinite mana, you may target any other permanent using Minamo's ability, or you may use Chromatic Orrery's second ability to draw infinite cards if you control a colored permanent.
