How it works

1. Give Nested Ghoul indestructible, if needed.
2. Activate Nested Ghoul by tapping it, dealing 1 damage to itself.
3. Nested Ghoul triggers, creating a 2/2 Phyrexian Zombie creature token.
4. When the Phyrexian Zombie enters the battlefield, Intruder Alarm triggers, untapping all creatures.
5. Repeat from step 2.

By outfitting Nested Ghoul with a Viridian Longbow, you grant it the ability to ping itself—an act of self-inflicted damage that triggers its own survival instinct to spawn a 2/2 Phyrexian Zombie creature token.
