How it works

1. Activate the creature by tapping it, dealing damage to an opponent's creature.

4. Repeat each time a creature enters the battlefield under an opponent's control.

By arming a creature with both Viridian Longbow and Gorgon Flail, you grant it a fatal ranged touch—turning any ping it makes into lethal deathtouch removal. Thornbite Staff completes the masterpiece by giving that same creature its own active sniping ability alongside a crucial passive trigger that untaps it every single time a creature dies. Because deathtouch ensures that even a single point of damage destroys its target, Thornbite Staff's untap ability triggers immediately, allowing you to repeatedly clean the board and lock your opponents out of ever keeping a creature alive.
