How it works

1. Activate the creature by tapping it, dealing damage to an opponent's creature.
2. The opponent's creature dies due to deathtouch, triggering the second ability granted by Thornbite Staff, untapping your creature.
3. Repeat until all opponents' creatures die.
4. Repeat each time a creature enters the battlefield under an opponent's control.

By equipping your chosen creature with both Thornbite Staff and Quietus Spike, you grant it the lethal combination of a ping ability, automatic untapping whenever anything dies, and deathtouch. Every time you tap the creature to deal damage, Quietus Spike turns that single point of damage into an instant execution, which in turn satisfies Thornbite Staff's trigger to untap the shooter and let you repeat the slaughter. Viridian Longbow sits in the setup as an alternative way to grant a tapping damage ability, ensuring you have redundancy to get the engine online. Together, these artifacts transform any creature into a relentless firing squad that clears the board of opposing threats the moment they appear.
