How it works

1. Cast Lightwheel Enhancements either from your hand or from your graveyard by paying , attaching it to another creature you control.
2. When Lightwheel Enhancements enters the battlefield, Ajani's Chosen triggers, creating a creature token.
3. Activate Phyrexian Altar by sacrificing the creature with Lightwheel Enhancements attached, adding .
4. Repeat.

This clever loop turns Ajani's Chosen and Phyrexian Altar into a self-sustaining mana engine, fueled entirely by the recursive nature of Lightwheel Enhancements. Because Lightwheel Enhancements is an Aura, each cast triggers Ajani's Chosen to generate a fresh token while seamlessly attaching itself to it, which you then sacrifice to Phyrexian Altar to generate the white mana needed to recast it. Once you hit max speed, Lightwheel Enhancements even allows you to pull this loop straight out of your graveyard, letting you sacrifice and recast it endlessly to pump out your storm count and trigger infinite enters-the-battlefield and death effects.
