How it works

1. Activate Phyrexian Altar by sacrificing Squee, adding .
2. When Squee dies, Hofri triggers, exiling Squee from your graveyard and creating a token copy of it.
3. Activate Phyrexian Altar by sacrificing the Squee token, adding .
4. When the Squee token dies, it triggers, returning Squee from exile to your graveyard.
5. Cast Squee from your graveyard by paying .
6. Repeat.

This loop is a masterclass in recycling, fueled by Squee, the Immortal's uncanny ability to crawl straight out of exile or the graveyard. By feeding Squee to Phyrexian Altar, you generate the mana needed to recast him while simultaneously triggering Hofri Ghostforge, whose presence ensures that every sacrifice leaves behind a temporary Spirit copy to be sacrificed right back. Meanwhile, Goblin Warchief quietly lightens the load by reducing Squee's casting cost to just a pair of red mana, turning a simple goblin into an endless engine for infinite sacrifices, enters-the-battlefield effects, and storm count.
