How it works
- Activate The Tenth Doctor by paying 7, removing all time counters from Charnel Serenade.
- Charnel Serenade triggers, causing you to cast it from exile without paying its mana cost.
- Ovika triggers, creating a number of creature tokens.
- When the creature tokens enter, Mana Echoes triggers, adding C for each creature you control that shares a creature type with the token for each trigger.
- Resolve Charnel Serenade.
- Repeat.
This dazzling loop harnesses The Tenth Doctor's Timey-Wimey ability to rapidly strip time counters from Charnel Serenade, allowing you to repeatedly cast it from exile for free. Each casting triggers Ovika, Enigma Goliath to flood the board with Phyrexian Goblin tokens, which in turn supercharges Mana Echoes to generate an overwhelming surplus of colorless mana. Because Charnel Serenade endlessly surveils and returns creatures with finality counters before exiling itself back onto time suspension, you can churn through your entire library and graveyard while assembling an infinite army.
