How it works
- Activate Agonasaur Rex's cycling ability by paying 2 and discarding it.
- Agonasaur Rex triggers, putting two +1/+1 counters on Evolution Witness.
- Evolution Witness triggers, returning Agonasaur Rex from your graveyard to your hand.
- Kheru Goldkeeper triggers, creating four Treasure tokens.
- Resolve the Agonasaur Rex ability from step 1, causing you to draw a card.
- Activate three Treasures by tapping and sacrificing them, adding 2.
- Repeat.
This clever loop starts by cycling Agonasaur Rex, which dumps it into the graveyard while triggering its ability to place two +1/+1 counters on Evolution Witness. That counter placement causes Evolution Witness's triggered ability to return Agonasaur Rex right back to your hand, while simultaneously making cards leave your graveyard to trigger Kheru Goldkeeper. Thanks to the token-doubling effects of both Anointed Procession and Bard, King of Dale, Kheru Goldkeeper generates four Treasure tokens instead of just one—more than enough to pay for Agonasaur Rex's cycling cost and keep the loop going indefinitely. Meanwhile, Bard, King of Dale's replacement effect turns the card drawn from cycling into a double-draw, turning this mana-positive engine into a massive storm of infinite resources.
