How it works

1. Activate up to seven lands by tapping them, adding at least 2.
2. Cast Ghostly Flicker by paying 2, blinking Salvager of Secrets and Great Whale.
3. When Salvager of Secrets and Great Whale enter the battlefield, their abilities trigger.
4. Resolve the Salvager of Secrets trigger, returning Ghostly Flicker to your hand from your graveyard.
5. Resolve the Great Whale trigger, untapping up to seven lands.
6. Repeat.
7. If you control seven lands that can tap to produce at least 3, this combo nets infinite mana, and you may blink any other permanent besides Great Whale.

This classic loop achieves infinite mana and enters-the-battlefield triggers by continually recycling spells between the battlefield and the graveyard. You initiate the sequence by casting Ghostly Flicker to exile both Salvager of Secrets and Great Whale. As these two creatures re-enter the battlefield, Great Whale triggers to untap your lands—providing the necessary mana to fund the next iteration—while Salvager of Secrets triggers to return Ghostly Flicker right back to your hand.
