How it works

1. Activate a mana-producing permanent by tapping it, adding .
2. Cast Ghostly Flicker by paying , blinking Salvager of Secrets and the mana-producing permanent.
3. When Salvager of Secrets enters the battlefield, it triggers, returning Ghostly Flicker to your hand from your graveyard.
4. Repeat.

This crafty loop relies on Mindsplice Apparatus steadily accumulating oil counters to discount your spells until Ghostly Flicker can be cast for practically nothing, recycling your mana source along the way. Each iteration sends Salvager of Secrets into exile and right back to the battlefield, where its entry trigger plucks Ghostly Flicker straight out of your graveyard to be cast all over again. Because Mindsplice Apparatus makes the spell cost a mere fraction of its original mana value, the loop becomes self-sustaining and eventually infinite, generating endless enters-the-battlefield triggers and a massive storm count.
