How it works

1. Cast Cauldron Haze by paying 1W/B, giving Archaeoamncer and at least one additional creature with base toughness two or greater persist until end of turn.
2. Activate Phyrexian Altar by sacrificing Salvager of Secrets and the additional creature, adding 1W/B.
3. When the creatures die, their persisit abilities trigger, returning themselves from your graveyard to the battlefield with zero -1/-1 counters due to Solemnity.
4. When Salvager of Secrets enters the battlefield, it triggers, returning Cauldron Haze to your hand from your graveyard.
5. Repeat.
6. If you control an additional nontoken creature with base toughness two or greater, you may also sacrifice and return it to get infinite colored mana.

This clever loop turns the graveyard into a revolving door by leveraging Solemnity to completely blank the downside of persist. With Solemnity preventing any -1/-1 counters from ever being placed, the creatures you sacrifice to Phyrexian Altar keep coming back fresh as ever. Cauldron Haze grants this vital persist ability in the first place, while Salvager of Secrets dutifully returns Cauldron Haze back to your hand every single time it enters the battlefield.
