How it works

1. Cast Karn's Touch by paying , causing Aetherflux Reservoir to become an artifact creature until end of turn.
2. Give Aetherflux Reservoir lifelink.
3. Activate Aetherflux Reservoir by paying 50 life, dealing 50 damage to any target and causing you to gain 50 life.
4. Repeat step 3.

This clever loop turns Aetherflux Reservoir's own defensive capability into a lethal weapon by bending its type line with Karn's Touch. While Karn's Touch animates the Reservoir into an artifact creature so it can receive lifelink, the Reservoir's built-in life-gain trigger catches the 50 life you pay to fire its damage ability. Because that lifelink-fueled blast restores the exact amount of life you just spent, you can immediately pay 50 life again to repeat the process, creating an infinite loop of damage and lifegain triggers.
