How it works

1. Activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing Eternal Scourge, adding CC.
2. When Eternal Scourge dies, Brenard triggers, exiling Eternal Scourge from your graveyard and creating a token copy of it that is a 1/1 Food Golem artifact creature token.
3. Activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing the Eternal Scourge token, adding CC.
4. Cast Eternal Scourge from exile by paying 3.
5. Repeat.
6. Once you have infinite mana, you may forego sacrificing the Eternal Scourge tokens.

This delightful loop relies on Eternal Scourge’s unique ability to be cast directly from exile, allowing it to bypass normal graveyard restrictions. By feeding the creature to Ashnod's Altar, you generate the exact amount of colorless mana needed to recast it, while triggering Brenard, Ginger Sculptor to replace the lost card with a fresh token copy. Because Brenard's staticanthem and type-modifying effects turn that token into a Food and a Golem, you also stack up a menacing army of pumped-up tramplers alongside your infinite mana and sacrifices.
