How it works

1. Activate Mystic Sanctuary and two Plains by tapping them, adding at least 1.
2. Activate Zuran Orb three times by sacrificing Mystic Sanctuary and two Plains, causing you to gain 6 life.
3. Cast Second Sunrise by paying 1, returning all land cards put into your graveyard this turn to the battlefield untapped due to Archelos.
4. When each land enters the battlefield, Aesi triggers that many times, and Mystic Sanctuary triggers once.
5. Resolve the Mystic Sanctuary trigger, putting Second Sunrise on top of your library from your graveyard.
6. Resolve the Aesi triggers, causing you to draw that many cards.
7. Repeat.
8. If you control additional lands, you may sacrifice them as well to get additional mana and triggers.

This ingenious loop exploits the replacement effects of Archelos, Lagoon Mystic to turn your graveyard into a perpetual motion machine, ensuring Mystic Sanctuary always enters the battlefield untapped rather than its usual restricted state. Once it does, its triggered ability lets you fish Second Sunrise right back out of your graveyard to the top of your library, ready to be drawn by the card advantage pouring in from Aesi, Tyrant of Gyre Strait. Meanwhile, Zuran Orb plays the sacrificial engine that sends your lands away to fund the spellcasting, clearing the board so Second Sunrise can bring them—and everything else—crashing back.
