How it works

1. Play Glacial Chasm either from your hand or from your graveyard.
2. When Glacial Chasm enters the battlefield, its second ability triggers, causing you to sacrifice another land you control.
3. Pass the turn.
4. At the beginning of your next upkeep, Glacial Chasm's cumulative upkeep ability triggers, causing you to put an age counter on it and lose 2 life.
5. Play any land from your graveyard.
6. Pass the turn.
7. At the beginning of your next upkeep, Glacial Chasm's cumulative upkeep ability triggers.
8. Holding priority, activate Zuran Orb by sacrificing Glacial Chasm, causing you to gain two life.
9. Resolve the Glacial Chasm trigger, doing nothing.
10. Repeat.

This lock works by utilizing Glacial Chasm to completely shield you from all incoming damage, while entirely bypassing its punishing cumulative upkeep and land sacrifice drawbacks. Whenever the upkeep trigger demands you pay life or sacrifice the Chasm, you simply respond by activating Zuran Orb to sacrifice it for life instead, completely dodging the mounting age counters. Meanwhile, Perennial Behemoth provides the crucial engine that lets you continuously replay the sacrificed Glacial Chasm right back from your graveyard turn after turn, keeping the unbreakable defensive barrier permanently online.
