How it works
- Activate each untapped land you control by tapping it, adding mana.
- Activate Aftermath Analyst by paying 3 and sacrificing it.
- In response, activate Zuran Orb repeatedly by sacrificing each land you control, gaining life each time.
- Resolve the Aftermath Analyst ability, returning all land cards from your graveyard to the battlefield untapped due to Archelos.
- Activate Phyrexian Reclamation by paying 1 and 2 life, returning Aftermath Analyst from your graveyard to your hand.
- Cast Aftermath Analyst by paying 3.
- Aftermath Analyst enters, triggering itself, causing you to mill three cards.
This engine lets you sacrifice your entire land base to Zuran Orb for a massive influx of life, fueling Aftermath Analyst's ultimate ability to drag every single land card right back out of your graveyard. Thanks to Archelos, Lagoon Mystic sitting in its untapped state, those returning lands bypass the usual restriction and enter the battlefield completely untapped, ready to be tapped for mana all over again. Once Aftermath Analyst has sacrificed itself to execute this massive recursive sweep, Phyrexian Reclamation steps in to easily fish the Analyst straight back out of your graveyard for recasting.
