How it works
Activate Zuran Orb by sacrificing any land, causing you to gain 2 life.
Repeat step 1 until you have at least six land cards in your graveyard, with one of those cards being a Swamp.
Activate Aftermath Analyst by paying 3 and sacrificing it, returning all land cards from your graveyard to the battlefield untapped due to Horizon Explorer.
Activate any number of lands by tapping them, adding at least 3.
Activate Strands of Night by paying and 2 life and sacrificing a Swamp, returning Aftermath Analyst from your graveyard to the battlefield.
When Aftermath Analyst enters, it triggers, causing you to mill three cards.
Repeat.
This clever recursion engine feeds on its own landscape, turning your mana base into an endless loop of life and death. By utilizing Zuran Orb to sacrifice your lands into the graveyard—a process cushioned by the lifegain—you quickly load up your graveyard while fueling Horizon Explorer's passive ability to ensure your returning lands enter ready to tap for mana. Once your graveyard is sufficiently stocked with a Swamp and Aftermath Analyst, you crack the Analyst's sacrifice ability to flood the battlefield with every land you've discarded. This massive influx of mana pays for Strands of Night, which lets you repeatedly trade life, mana, and a Swamp to drag Aftermath Analyst right back out of the graveyard. Every time the Analyst returns, its entrance trigger mills you deeper into your library, while the lands it rescues immediately untap thanks to Horizon Explorer, leaving you with infinite mana, life, and landfall triggers to overwhelm the table.
