How it works

1. Activate Myr Welder using Chromatic Orrery's ability by tapping it, adding CCCCC.
2. Activate Myr Welder by paying 3 and untapping it, giving it +2/+2 until end of turn.
3. Repeat.

By exiling Chromatic Orrery into Myr Welder's imprint ability, our tiny construct gains the massive infrastructure of a true artifact engine, channeling its tapped ability to produce five colorless mana at a whim. To keep the gears turning, Umbral Mantle equips for free and provides the vital untap loop: we spend three of that generated mana to untap Myr Welder while growing it infinitely larger until the end of the turn. Once this perpetual motion machine is spinning, we can pivot that same infinite colorless mana and untaps into Chromatic Orrery's activated ability to draw your entire deck and cycle through your library endlessly.
