How it works

1. Activate Myr Welder using Five Hundred Year Diary's ability by tapping it, adding at least
2. If Voltaic Construct is on the battlefield, activate Voltaic Construct by paying 2, untapping Myr Welder. Otherwise, activate Myr Welder using Voltaic Construct's ability by paying 2, untapping Myr Welder.
3. Repeat.

With Voltaic Construct exiled under it, Myr Welder gains the power to untap itself for just two mana, while tapping to generate blue mana is made possible by also exiling Five Hundred Year Diary to provide the necessary tapping ability. As long as the Diary measures your Clues to yield enough blue mana to cover the two-mana untap cost, you can cycle these stolen abilities endlessly to generate infinite blue mana and infinite untaps.
