How it works

1. Activate Myr Welder using Timeless Lotus's ability by tapping it, adding .
2. If Staff of Domination is exiled, activate Myr Welder using Staff of Domination's first ability by paying 1, untapping it.
3. Otherwise, activate Staff of Domination's third ability by paying 3 and tapping it, untapping Myr Welder. Then, activate Staff of Domination's first ability by paying 1, untapping it.
4. Repeat.

By utilizing Myr Welder's imprint ability to absorb the activated abilities of both Timeless Lotus and Staff of Domination from the graveyard, our tiny construct becomes a self-sustaining engine. Timeless Lotus provides the initial explosive mana generation of five colors simply by tapping, while Staff of Domination steps in to untap the Myr Welder—either directly through its own cloned untap ability or by paying the mana required to keep the loop going. Once these pieces are locked away under the welder, you can cleanly cycle through the Staff's suite of abilities to draw your entire deck, gain infinite life, and generate boundless colored mana.
