How it works
- Activate Myr Welder using Five Hundred Year Diary's ability by tapping it, adding at least
- Activate Myr Welder by paying 3 and untapping it, giving it +2/+2 until end of turn.

This fascinating loop transforms Myr Welder into a self-contained mana factory by leveraging the activated abilities of cards exiled within its metallic grasp. First, you imprint Five Hundred Year Diary onto Myr Welder, granting the construct the power to tap for blue mana based on your Clues. Next, you equip Myr Welder with Umbral Mantle, allowing the welder to spend three of that generated mana to untap itself via the untap symbol while growing larger and larger. Because the cost to untap is fully covered by the blue mana produced from the Diary's copied ability, you can repeat this cycle endlessly to generate infinite blue mana, infinitely large creatures until end of turn, and an infinite number of creature untaps.
