How it works

1. Activate Myr Welder using Five Hundred Year Diary's ability by tapping it, adding at least .

This clever loop turns your graveyard into an engine for endless blue mana by feeding the activated abilities of Five Hundred Year Diary directly into Myr Welder, which must first exile the Diary to copy its mana-producing power. To sustain the cycle, Pemmin's Aura enchants the Welder, allowing you to spend a portion of the generated mana to untap it repeatedly. Because Myr Welder copies the Diary's activated ability—rather than relying on the physical artifact—you can continuously tap and untap it without needing any actual Clues on the battlefield.
