How it works
- Activate Myr Welder using Nyx Lotus's ability by tapping it, adding at least .
- Activate Aggravated Assault by paying 3, untapping all creatures you control and causing you to get an additional combat phase after this one.
- Repeat.
This explosive loop relies on Myr Welder’s ability to borrow the activated skills of artifacts it has consumed, turning the creature into a one-man engine of destruction. First, you feed Nyx Lotus into the welder's exile-imprint ability to generate a massive surge of red mana based on your devotion. Then, you channel that windfall into Aggravated Assault to untap your board and seize endless extra combat phases. Because Myr Welder inherits the Lotus's mana-producing capability directly, you can repeat this cycle indefinitely to flood your pool with infinite mana and swing for the win over and over again.
