How it works

1. Activate Myr Welder using Nyx Lotus's ability by tapping it, adding at least .
2. Activate Freed from the Real by paying , untapping Myr Welder.

This clever loop turns your graveyard and a bit of devotion into an engine for infinite mana. By using Myr Welder to imprint Nyx Lotus in the graveyard, the welder gains the lotus's massive mana-producing activated ability. Enchanting that same Myr Welder with Freed from the Real lets you spend a portion of that generated blue mana to untap it repeatedly. As long as your devotion provides enough blue mana to pay the untap cost while profiting overall, you can cycle this sequence to generate boundless mana of any color your permanents represent.
