How it works
- Activate Urza by paying 6, creating a token copy of Bag End Banquet that is a 1/1 Soldier in addition to its other types.
- When the Bag End Banquet token enters, it triggers, creating three Food tokens.
- Activate the Bag End Banquet token by tapping it, adding C for each Food you control.
- Repeat
This loop relies on Urza, Prince of Kroog's ability to churn out token copies of target artifacts by paying {6}, turning our replicated permanent into a 1/1 Soldier creature. Because Concordant Crossroads grants all creatures haste, the newly created copy of Bag End Banquet can tap immediately the moment it enters the battlefield. Thanks to the original Bag End Banquet token's presence, tapping the copy for mana yields enough colorless energy to fully fund the next activation of Urza, Prince of Kroog, while simultaneously spawning a fresh wave of Food tokens to scale our mana production higher and higher.
