How it works

1. Activate Experiment Kraj using Budoka Gardener's ability by tapping it, putting a land from your hand onto the battlefield.
2. If the land is mana-producing and enters the battlefield untapped, you may activate it by tapping it, adding at least 1.
3. Activate Experiment Kraj using Trench Behemoth's ability by returning the land from the battlefield to your hand, untapping Experiment Kraj.
4. Repeat.

This clever loop turns Experiment Kraj into a veritable engine of self-sufficiency by borrowing the activated abilities of its peers. With a +1/+1 counter on Budoka Gardener, Experiment Kraj gains the ability to cheat lands directly from your hand onto the battlefield, triggering any land-based synergies you might have. Then, by absorbing Trench Behemoth's toolkit, Experiment Kraj can simply bounce that very same land back to your hand to untap itself. Repeating this cycle yields infinite landfall triggers and, if the dropped land enters untapped, an endless supply of generated mana.
