How it works

1. Activate Emry by tapping it, allowing you to cast Shield Sphere from your graveyard this turn.
2. Cast Shield Sphere from your graveyard by paying 0.
3. Activate Phantom Train by sacrificing Shield Sphere.
4. When Shield Sphere dies, Emry triggers, untapping Emry.
5. Resolve the Phantom Train ability.
6. Repeat.

This cunning loop turns Emry, Lurker of the Loch into a relentless engine by equipping her with Thornbite Staff, granting her the ability to untap whenever a creature dies. Because Emry is a Shaman, the Staff automatically attaches to her when she enters the battlefield. You then use Emry's tap ability to cast the zero-mana Shield Sphere straight from your graveyard, which you immediately sacrifice to Phantom Train to pump the Vehicle with a +1/+1 counter and turn it into a Spirit. Crucially, sending Shield Sphere to the graveyard triggers Thornbite Staff to untap Emry, letting you repeat the process endlessly to rack up massive sacrifice, death, and entry triggers.
