How it works

1. Activate Orthion's second ability by paying 6 and tapping it, creating five token copies of Satyr Hedonist with haste.
2. Activate a Satyr Hedonist token by paying and sacrificing it, adding .
3. When the Satyr Hedonist token dies, Orthion triggers, untapping itself.
4. Repeat from step 2 for each remaining Satyr Hedonist token.
5. Repeat from step 1.
6. Once you have infinite mana, you may forego sacrificing the Satyr Hedonist tokens and/or target any other creature.

This brilliant red ritual centers around Orthion, Hero of Lavabrink, who must be equipped with Thornbite Staff so he can reap the benefits of creatures dying around him. By activating Orthion's massive ability, you flood the board with five hasty token copies of Satyr Hedonist, which conveniently shares the Shaman creature type to automatically snap the Thornbite Staff right onto Orthion. When you sacrifice a Satyr Hedonist token for mana, Thornbite Staff's triggered ability sees the death and immediately untaps Orthion, allowing you to cycle through your remaining tokens and net a massive surplus of red mana to repeat the loop indefinitely.
