How it works

1. Deal damage to Truefire Captain.
2. Truefire Captain and Repercussion trigger.
3. Resolve the Truefire Captain trigger, dealing damage to an applicable target.
4. Resolve the Repercussion trigger, dealing damage to Truefire Captain instead of you due to With Great Power....
5. Repeat from step 2.

This vicious feedback loop centers around Truefire Captain, whose triggered ability normally turns incoming damage back outward at a target player. By wrapping the Captain in With Great Power . . ., you redirect all damage meant for you right back onto your own creature, which simultaneously fuels Repercussion into punishing your opponent's life total directly through the Captain's controller damage. Every iteration feeds the next as Repercussion's triggered damage hits the Captain anew, creating an escalating loop of redirected pain that quickly incinerates any foe.
