How it works

1. Declare any creature as an attacker. Dawnsire triggers, dealing 100 damage to Truefire Captain.
2. Truefire Captain triggers, dealing 100 damage to target player.

This explosive setup turns a simple declare-attack step into a lethal strike by weaponizing friendly fire. When you declare attackers, Dawnsire, Sunstar Dreadnought triggers to deal a massive 100 damage directly to your own Truefire Captain. Because Truefire Captain deals that exact amount of damage right back to target player whenever it is dealt damage, the captain redirects the wrath of your spacecraft straight to the opponent's life total. Even though Truefire Captain's mentor ability is part of its text box, this vicious self-damage loop completely bypasses normal combat to instantly close out the game.
