How it works

1. Activate Marath by paying 1 and removing a +1/+1 counter from it, putting two +1/+1 counters on Marath.
2. Activate Marath by paying 1 and removing a +1/+1 counter from it, putting two +1/+1 counters on Cryptic Trilobite.
3. Activate Cryptic Trilobite's first ability by removing a +1/+1 counter from it, adding CC that can only be spent to activate abilities.
4. Repeat.
5. Once Cryptic Trilobite has infinite +1/+1 counters, you may remove them for infinite mana, then repeat step 1 to get infinite +1/+1 counters on Marath, which can then be used for Marath's other modes.

This loop relies on a brilliant feedback loop between Marath, Will of the Wild and Cryptic Trilobite, where Marath's ability to distribute counters can be fueled entirely by the mana generated from removing them. Primal Vigor acts as the ultimate amplifier here, doubling every single +1/+1 counter and token created, ensuring that Marath's counter-targeting always yields a net positive gain. By cycling counters back and forth between the two creatures and utilizing Cryptic Trilobite's ability to produce double the activation mana, you quickly spiral into infinite resources. Once the engine is established, you can easily pivot Marath's scaling abilities to generate infinite damage, infinite creature tokens, and total battlefield dominance.
