How it works

1. Activate Mimeoplasm by paying 2, causing it to become a copy of Heronblade Elite.
2. Activate Mimeoplasm by tapping it, adding at least seven .
3. Activate Mimeoplasm by paying 2, causing it to become a copy of Gilder Bairn.
4. Activate Mimeoplasm using Gilder Bairn's ability by paying 2G/U and untapping it.
5. Repeat.

This ingenious loop hinges on The Mimeoplasm, Revered One shifting its identity to harness the unique strengths of its companions. By copying Heronblade Elite, The Mimeoplasm gains the ability to tap for mana equal to its own power, which is heavily amplified by the three +1/+1 counters it accumulated upon entering the battlefield. Once it generates a surplus of mana, you pay to have The Mimeoplasm become a copy of Gilder Bairn, allowing you to spend that mana and untap to double every counter on the permanent. Because Heronblade Elite inherently checks power (and the counters that fuel it), alternating between these two forms lets you exponentially grow your stats and mana on the spot.
