How it works

1. Activate Tolsimir by tapping it, creating a 2/2 Voja legendary creature token.
2. Put all but one Voja into your graveyard due to the legend rule.
3. The Voja dies, triggering Tolsimir, untapping Tolsimir.
4. Repeat.

By equipping Tolsimir Wolfblood with Thornbite Staff, you grant the legendary elf the ability to ping a target for two mana and, crucially, to untap whenever any creature dies. When you tap Tolsimir to create the legendary token Voja, the legend rule immediately puts the excess Voja into your graveyard, triggering Thornbite Staff's passive untap ability. This untaps Tolsimir to immediately repeat the process, fueling an endless loop of creation and death that yields infinite creature ETB, LTB, and death triggers right on the spot.
