How it works
- Activate Unfulfilled Desires by paying 1 and 1 life, causing you to loot.
- The Locust God triggers, creating a 1/1 Insect creature token with flying and haste.
- Activate Phyrexian Altar by sacrificing the Insect, adding 1.
- When the Insect dies, Zulaport Cutthroat triggers, causing each opponent to lose 1 life and you to gain 1 life.
- Repeat.
This loop creates a self-sustaining engine by turning the mana generated from Phyrexian Altar right back into activation costs for Unfulfilled Desires. As you repeatedly draw and discard, The Locust God rewards each card drawn by spawning a flying Insect token to feed right back into the Altar.
