How it works

  1. During your precombat main phase, activate Talas Researcher by tapping it, causing you to draw a card.
  2. The Locust God triggers, creating a 1/1 Insect creature token with flying and haste.
  3. When the Insect enters the battlefield, Intruder Alarm triggers, untapping all creatures.
  4. Repeat.

This clever loop relies on Talas Researcher as your tap-to-draw engine during your main phase. Each time you draw that card, The Locust God leaps into action, churning out a hasty flying Insect token. The arrival of that new creature instantly triggers Intruder Alarm, which untaps all creatures—including your tapped Talas Researcher—allowing you to tap it all over again for the next card.
