How it works

1. Activate Unfulfilled Desires by paying 1 and 1 life, causing you to loot.
2. The Locust God triggers, creating a 1/1 Insect creature token with flying and haste.
3. Activate Phyrexian Altar by sacrificing the Insect, adding 1.
4. When the Insect dies, Zulaport Cutthroat triggers, causing target opponent to lose 1 life and you to gain 1 life.
5. Repeat.

This elegant swarm relies on Unfulfilled Desires to act as your engine's repeating trigger, letting you pay a modest toll of mana and life to continually loot through your deck. Every time you draw from that activation, The Locust God steps in to populate your board by hatching a flying Insect token. You can then feed that fresh token directly to Phyrexian Altar, recycling it for the exact mana needed to keep your Unfulfilled Desires firing indefinitely. Finally, Blood Artist watches the constant stream of sacrifices to drain your opponents dry while padding your own life total, closing out the game on the back of your endless insectoid cycle.
