How it works

  1. Activate Mindless Automaton's second ability by removing two +1/+1 counters from it, causing you to draw two cards.
  2. The Locust God triggers twice, creating two 1/1 Insect creature tokens with flying and haste.
  3. Activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing an Insect, adding CC.
  4. Activate Mindless Automaton's first ability twice by paying 2 and discarding two cards, putting two +1/+1 counters on it.
  5. Repeat.
