How it works
Activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing another creature.
When the creature dies, Fleshtaker triggers, causing you to gain 1 life and scry 1.
Matoya triggers, causing you to draw a card.
The Locust God triggers, creating a 1/1 Insect creature token with flying and haste.
Repeat.
This loop transforms a simple sacrifice into a self-sustaining engine by turning every card draw into a fresh set of resources. Fleshtaker acts as the catalyst by granting you a life and a scry whenever a creature hits the graveyard, which immediately triggers Matoya, Archon Elder to draw you a card. That newly drawn card coaxes The Locust God into spawning a hasty 1/1 Insect token, which you can then feed right back into Ashnod's Altar to generate colorless mana and start the whole chain over again.
