How it works

  1. Activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing another creature, adding CC.
  2. Dragon Appeasement triggers, causing you to draw a card.
  3. The Locust God triggers, causing you to create a 1/1 Insect creature token with haste.
  4. Repeat.

This ingenious loop transforms your sacrifice outlet into a self-sustaining engine by turning every death into fresh resources. When you sacrifice a creature to Ashnod's Altar, Dragon Appeasement seizes upon that sacrifice to force a card draw, completely bypassing your skipped draw step. That drawn card immediately rouses The Locust God, which fills your board with a hasty 1/1 Insect creature token ready to be fed right back into the Altar for more mana.
