How it works

  1. Activate Viscera Seer by sacrificing another creature.
  2. Dragon Appeasement triggers, causing you to draw a card.
  3. The Locust God triggers, causing you to create a 1/1 Insect creature token with haste.
  4. Resolve the Viscera Seer ability, causing you to scry 1.
  5. Repeat.

This loop transforms the downside of Dragon Appeasement into an engine of endless value, completely bypassing its skipped draw step. By using Viscera Seer to sacrifice the tokens you create, Dragon Appeasement triggers to draw you a card, which in turn causes The Locust God to spawn a fresh 1/1 Insect to replace the one you lost. Viscera Seer's scry ability also lets you sculpt your draws along the way, ensuring this self-sustaining cycle provides a massive tactical advantage.
