How it works
- Activate Bloodflow Connoisseur by sacrificing another creature.
- When the creature dies, Fleshtaker triggers, causing you to gain 1 life and scry 1.
- Matoya triggers, causing you to draw a card.
- The Locust God triggers, creating a 1/1 Insect creature token with flying and haste.
- Resolve the Bloodflow Connoisseur ability.
- Repeat.
This charmingly convoluted loop turns a simple sacrifice into a self-sustaining engine by exploiting a brilliant web of triggers. When Bloodflow Connoisseur eats a creature, Fleshtaker catches the death event to grant you life and scry 1, which immediately triggers Matoya, Archon Elder to draw you a card. That newly drawn card feeds directly into The Locust God, whose passive ability spawns a fresh 1/1 Insect token to be sacrificed right back to the Connoisseur.
