How it works
- Activate Phyrexian Altar by sacrificing another creature.
- When the creature dies, Fleshtaker triggers, causing you to gain 1 life and scry 1.
- Matoya triggers, causing you to draw a card.
- The Locust God triggers, creating a 1/1 Insect creature token with flying and haste.
- Repeat.
This delightful engine spins itself into an unstoppable feedback loop once you kick it off by sacrificing a creature to Phyrexian Altar. That sacrifice triggers Fleshtaker to scry 1, which immediately makes Matoya, Archon Elder draw you a card. Drawing that card prompts The Locust God to spawn a hasty 1/1 Insect token, which you can then feed right back into the Altar for mana to keep the cycle going.
