How it works
- Activate Thermopod's second ability by sacrificing another creature, adding .
- Dragon Appeasement triggers, causing you to draw a card.
- The Locust God triggers, causing you to create a 1/1 Insect creature token with haste.
- Repeat.
This loop turns a simple sacrifice into a self-sustaining storm of bugs and mana by cleverly bypassing the restriction on Dragon Appeasement, whose drawback of skipping your draw step is completely nullified because you'll be drawing cards through other means anyway. When you sacrifice a creature to Thermopod to generate red mana, Dragon Appeasement triggers to let you draw a card. That draw immediately triggers The Locust God, spawning a hasty 1/1 Insect creature token that can then be fed right back into Thermopod to fuel the next iteration.
