How it works
- Activate Altar of Dementia by sacrificing another creature.
- Dragon Appeasement triggers, causing you to draw a card.
- The Locust God triggers, causing you to create a 1/1 Insect creature token with haste.
- Resolve the Altar of Dementia ability, causing target player to mill cards equal to the sacrificed creature's power.
- Repeat.
This clever loop is fueled by Dragon Appeasement, which replaces your normal draw step with a powerful reward: every time you sacrifice a creature, you get to draw a card. That newly drawn card instantly triggers The Locust God, materializing a fresh 1/1 flying Insect token onto the battlefield. You then feed that token right into Altar of Dementia, sacrificing it to mill cards and triggering Dragon Appeasement all over again to keep the swarm growing and the mill rolling.
