How it works

  1. Activate Phantom Train by sacrificing another creature.
  2. Dragon Appeasement triggers, causing you to draw a card.
  3. The Locust God triggers, causing you to create a 1/1 Insect creature token with haste.
  4. Resolve the Phantom Train ability
  5. Repeat.

This clever loop starts by using Phantom Train to sacrifice a creature, which feeds the life-saving draw-step-skipping engine of Dragon Appeasement. That sacrifice triggers Dragon Appeasement to draw you a card, which in turn immediately triggers The Locust God to flood the board with a fresh flying Insect token. Since that newly minted Insect can then be fed right back into Phantom Train, you have a self-sustaining cycle that generates a relentless swarm of tokens and draws your entire deck.
