How it works

1. Give Nested Ghoul indestructible, if needed.
2. Activate Nested Ghoul by tapping it, dealing 2 damage to itself.
3. Nested Ghoul triggers, creating a 2/2 Phyrexian Zombie creature token.
4. When the Phyrexian Zombie enters the battlefield, Intruder Alarm triggers, untapping all creatures.
5. Repeat from step 2.

This clever setup turns self-inflicted damage into a self-sustaining loop by leveraging Intruder Alarm's static ability to untap your board every time a token arrives. By equipping Nested Ghoul with Heavy Arbalest—or otherwise granting it the ability to tap and deal damage to itself—each shot triggers its own damage-based creation of a 2/2 Phyrexian Zombie creature token. The moment that token enters the battlefield, Intruder Alarm springs to action, readying all your creatures so you can tap Nested Ghoul again and repeat the process indefinitely.
