How it works

1. Declare Krosan Restorer as an attacker.
2. Activate Maze of Ith by tapping it, targeting Krosan Restorer.
3. Resolve the Maze of Ith ability, untapping Krosan Restorer and preventing all combat damage dealt to and by it this turn.
4. Activate Krosan Restorer's second ability by tapping it, untapping Maze of Ith and any other land you control.
5. Activate a mana-producing land by tapping it, adding at least 1.
6. Repeat.

This classic interaction hinges on the clever synergy between Maze of Ith and Krosan Restorer, utilizing the combat phase to bypass normal restrictions. Because Maze of Ith untaps the attacker and prevents its combat damage without removing it from combat, you can safely swing with Krosan Restorer even though its power is modest. Once threshold is active, Krosan Restorer’s ability lets you untap Maze of Ith alongside other lands you control, leaving you free to tap them for mana before repeating the cycle to generate infinite mana.
