How it works

1. Cast the Dinosaur in your hand by paying its mana cost. It will enter with a coin counter due to Blue.
2. Activate Carrion Feeder by sacrificing the Dinosaur.
3. When the Dinosaur dies, Athreos's second ability triggers, returning the Dinosaur from your graveyard to the battlefield. It will enter with a coin counter due to Blue.
4. Resolve the Carrion Feeder ability.
5. Repeat from step 2.

This loop is a masterclass in recycling, turning Athreos, Shroud-Veiled's coin counter trigger into a relentless engine by placing that counter directly onto Blue, Loyal Raptor. Because Blue naturally passes its counters along to any incoming Dinosaur, the fresh creature enters ready to be fed to Carrion Feeder. When the sacrificed Dinosaur hits the graveyard, Athreos immediately returns it to the battlefield, repeating the cycle while continuously pumping up Carrion Feeder with new +1/+1 counters.
